Learning Goes Beyond the Screen and Into the World of Professional Sports.
AI For Student Athletes™ is designed to connect what students learn in AI, data, technology, business, leadership, and career development with the real-world environments where those skills are being used.
Through selected experiential learning opportunities, students may step beyond the traditional classroom and explore the professional sports ecosystem firsthand—learning from the people, departments, technologies, and operations that help make the game possible.
Because behind every team, every game, and every arena is an entire workforce.
And we want students to discover it.

REAL PEOPLE. REAL CAREERS. REAL-WORLD EXPOSURE.
Depending on the specific program, professional sports partner, season, and availability, experiential learning opportunities may include:
🎙️ PROFESSIONAL SPEAKERS
Students may learn directly from professionals working throughout the sports industry and hear how they built their careers.
Rather than simply hearing a job title, students explore:
Career → Responsibilities → Skills → Education → Certifications → Experience → Entry Point → Next Action
👥 CAREER PANELS
Imagine a student hearing from professionals representing technology, marketing, analytics, community impact, corporate partnerships, sports management, operations, and other functions—all within the same professional sports organization.
Students begin to realize:
There isn't one career in professional sports. There is an entire career ecosystem.
🏟️ ARENA-BASED LEARNING
Selected GameDay Learning Labs™ may connect classroom concepts with professional sports environments.
Students may explore how business, technology, data, operations, marketing, and fan experience come together to support a professional sports organization and venue.
The goal isn't simply:
“We visited an arena.”
It's:
“Now I understand some of the people, systems, technology, and careers that make this environment work.”
💻 TECHNOLOGY & DATA EXPOSURE
Students may hear from professionals working in areas such as:
Technology • Data • Analytics • Digital Platforms • Cybersecurity • Business Intelligence • Innovation
This allows students to connect concepts from GameDay Learning Labs™ to real professional applications.
💼 SPORTS MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS EXPOSURE
Students may explore the business functions that operate behind the team, including areas such as:
Marketing • Ticketing • Corporate Partnerships • Community Impact • Finance • Human Resources • Game Operations • Arena Operations • Communications • Fan Experience
This is especially powerful for students who love sports but have never considered working in the sports industry outside of becoming an athlete or coach.
🏀 GAME-DAY EXPERIENCES
Where available, selected cohorts may have opportunities to connect their learning with professional game-day environments.
These experiences can help students observe firsthand how multiple departments, professionals, technologies, and operational systems come together around a live sporting event.
🧭 MENTORS & SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS
Industry professionals may help student teams think through problems, challenge assumptions, understand industry realities, and strengthen their ideas.
The professionals don't build the solution for students.
They help students learn how professionals think.
🏆 CAPSTONE MENTORS & JUDGES
During the AI For Sports Innovation Challenge™, selected industry professionals may serve as mentors, reviewers, or judges as students move from:
PROBLEM → EVIDENCE → SOLUTION → PROTOTYPE → IMPACT → PITCH
Students ultimately practice communicating their ideas in a professional environment—not simply submitting another school assignment.

Sports can help students develop valuable skills:
Discipline
Teamwork
Leadership
Communication
Coachability
Resilience
Accountability
Performance Under Pressure
AI For Student Athletes™ helps students begin connecting those strengths to education, technology, business, leadership, and future careers.
Whether a student eventually competes professionally, collegiately, recreationally, or chooses an entirely different path, the skills and career awareness they develop can travel with them.
ABOUT EXPERIENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES
Professional speakers, venue access, career panels, game-day activities, athlete interactions, mentors, and other experiential opportunities vary by program, cohort, professional sports partner, season, scheduling, availability, and applicable partner requirements. Specific experiences are not guaranteed unless expressly included in a student's confirmed program offering.

A: No. Your child does not have to be a current athlete to participate in AI For Student Athletes™.
The program is designed for middle and high school students who are interested in sports, AI, technology, business, leadership, innovation, or future careers. Sports provides the real-world environment that makes the learning engaging.
Whether your child plays competitively, recreationally, used to play, or simply loves sports, they can benefit from the program.
A: AI For Student Athletes™ is designed for middle and high school students in grades 6–12.
Activities are designed to introduce students to real-world concepts while allowing them to develop their skills, confidence, and career awareness at an age-appropriate level.
Specific cohorts may be organized by grade or age depending on enrollment.
No prior AI, coding, or technical experience is required.
Students will be introduced to AI, data, technology, and responsible technology use as part of the learning experience.
Our goal isn't to see how much students already know. It's to help them learn, explore, build, and discover what they're capable of.
No. AI For Student Athletes™ is not an athletic training, basketball skills, or sports-performance program.
It is an experiential workforce-development and career-exploration program that uses the world of sports to help students develop future-ready knowledge and skills.
Students explore what happens behind the game, including AI, data, technology, sports business, careers, fan experience, innovation, and leadership.
We aren't teaching students how to become better basketball players.
We're helping them understand the industries, technologies, businesses, and careers surrounding the sports they love.
Students will explore several areas through the GameDay Learning Labs™, including:
🏀 Sports Business — How professional sports organizations operate beyond the game.
🤖 Artificial Intelligence — How AI is being used and how to determine when AI is or isn't the right solution.
📊 Data & Analytics — How organizations use information to identify patterns, measure performance, and make decisions.
💻 Sports Technology — The technology and digital systems supporting modern sports organizations and venues.
💼 Sports Management & Careers — The professionals, departments, skills, education, and career pathways behind the industry.
📣 Fan Experience — How organizations combine business, technology, marketing, data, and creativity to engage fans.
⭐ Leadership — Communication, teamwork, accountability, resilience, coachability, and professional readiness.
Students then bring these areas together during the AI For Sports Innovation Challenge™.
A GameDay Learning Lab™ is an experiential learning session that connects sports with AI, technology, business, leadership, and career development.
Instead of simply listening to lectures, students may work through real-world scenarios, team activities, career exploration, problem-solving exercises, projects, professional discussions, and other hands-on experiences.
Our learning model is:
PLAY → LEARN → EXPERIENCE → PREPARE™
Students use something they already understand and enjoy, sports as a gateway to discovering skills and careers they may not have considered before.
The AI For Sports Innovation Challenge™ is the season capstone where students put what they've learned into action.
Working in teams, students move through an eight-stage innovation process:
Identify & Research the Problem → Analyze Evidence → Design the Solution → Determine AI/Technology Fit → Build the Prototype → Test & Iterate → Define KPIs & Business Value → Present to Industry Professionals
Students are challenged to identify a meaningful sports-industry problem and develop a thoughtful solution.
Importantly, students aren't taught to use AI simply because it's available. They learn to first understand the problem and determine whether AI, another technology, or a non-technical approach is appropriate.
The Challenge concludes with students developing and communicating their solution in a professional presentation.
Selected cohorts may have opportunities to participate in learning experiences at professional sports venues.
Venue-based learning is an important part of our vision for The Arena Becomes the Classroom™, where students can connect what they're learning to the people, technology, business functions, careers, and operations behind professional sports.
However, specific venue experiences will depend on the program, cohort, professional sports partner, season, scheduling, availability, and partner requirements.
Confirmed experiences will be communicated to families before participation.
The AI For Student Athletes™ Career Passport™ helps students document their growth and career exploration throughout the program.
Students can use their Career Passport™ to capture:
What I Learned
What I Built
Skills I Demonstrated
Professionals I Learned From
Careers I Discovered
Professional Experiences I Completed
My Career Interests
My Next Action
Students may also earn digital badges connected to areas such as Sports Business, AI, Data & Analytics, Sports Technology, Career Exploration, Fan Experience, Leadership, and Innovation.
The goal is for students to leave with more than memories they begin building evidence of what they've learned, experienced, and accomplished.
Students may have opportunities to learn from sports-industry professionals, including professionals working in areas such as technology, data and analytics, marketing, sports management, community impact, business operations, leadership, fan experience, and other departments.
Depending on the partner, season, and availability, some cohorts may also have special athlete or game-day interactions.
Because professional athletes' schedules can change, athlete appearances or interactions are not guaranteed unless specifically included in a confirmed program experience.
Our program is intentionally designed so that the educational value does not depend on meeting an athlete. The larger goal is to introduce students to the entire professional ecosystem behind the game.
Tuition and program pricing for the upcoming Basketball Series will be announced as cohort dates, venues, and included experiences are finalized.
Families who join the Student Waiting List will receive priority updates about tuition, payment options, cohort dates, locations, and enrollment.
There is no payment required to join the waiting list.
That's completely fine.
AI For Student Athletes™ uses professional sports as the learning environment, not the career limitation.
The skills students explore, including AI, data, technology, business, communication, leadership, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving, can apply across many industries.
A student might enter the program because they love basketball and discover an interest in becoming a data analyst, AI professional, cybersecurity specialist, marketer, entrepreneur, business leader, technology professional, or another career they had never previously considered.
Our goal is not to tell students what career to choose.
Our goal is to expand what they know is possible.
The first AI For Student Athletes™ Series is being planned for Charlotte, North Carolina.
We are currently building the founding cohort and finalizing program dates, locations, professional sports experiences, and partner participation.
Families who join the Student Waiting List will be among the first to receive confirmed information about:
✓ Program dates
✓ Location and venue experiences
✓ Tuition and payment options
✓ Enrollment availability
✓ Professional and experiential learning opportunities
